Aurora after Kettlebells

Something Dan Bongino said about Lifting then Cardio plus a late start made me try extending my regular Fencing workout (which ends with kettlebells) into my Aurora ride. Yes; my legs were very weary but they made it all the way through 2 peaks and for half the usual 3rd peak.

I’m still irked the peaks get lost up there

I’ll probably keep this routine

Mr Tib out in the Cold

I took out the light bike and avoided most of the hills. I left in the mind 40°s and had 20 good miles before the goring cold pierced the heat-bubble my battery-powered socks afforded.

I managed to catch the wheel of an older cyclist heading my way; I drafted behind him for a good 2 miles at 19.2 mph — nearly like an actual cyclist.

That’s my Paris-Roubaix Jersey

Turkey-Day Halfbike

I just managed to beat the rain — or neatly. On slightly slick roads I’ve always said there’s no safer bike than a Fixie. On slick roads Halfbikes are also very safe but since the torque makes the rear wheels (which do the steering or turning) skid just a bit. Makes for a fun experience.

Short but sweet. I’m still having troubles with the FITIV phone app hence the Watch screen-shots.
