My plan was to ride the Halfbike but the hot-tub repair guy changed his arrival time so I rode inside instead.

I took the non-rainy part of the day for a Halfbike ride. Since the road to/from the park’s entrance is steep & nearly devoid of cars I got to coast down it & then (nearly) ride all the way up it — with 7 miles of Peeler Park in between.
Excellent fun and a good leg-burner

I had grand plans of a Double but in the end I was lucky to get this AM ride

Varied pedaling is not conducive to lovely plateaus
I squandered my early AirBike time so I rode after three on weary legs

I had grand plans for a double today but only managed the Halfbike part.
Still it was a good ride in some muggy weather.

I got a late start on weary legs and even suffered the agony of a battery ejection from the AirBike’s control panel but I got in a good 10 miler

I hit Peeler Park again since it was cooler — below 90° with a good aggressive wind. I have a route planned for 12 miles but took a left instead of aright and only covered 10 miles.

iPhone died so I brought it back & then accidentally killed it again.
Oops

Felt good to control something
I stayed inside avoiding the bad air quality

Plus I put a fancy fan just overhead. Works very well; looks ugly

I neglected to post on Friday — a good Halfbike-ride in Peeler Park and this time I didn’t get lost.

I managed to employ all 4 gears. 4th is indeed frightening at first.
And today I took Mr. Tib out to Shelby — 12 laps
