Our Arctic Bomb has hit early

Dividing my rides — Trividing actually — into 50 Airbike 50 Halfbike and 50 Fixie
Showing my age I suppose

I delayed apparently until the final day

We had a rainy morning so I took Echo around the virtual block. She’s still way harder for me than was Aurora

I finally understand that odd number-teethed rear-cogs work better that even numbered-teeth but I still went out on 16 teeth in back. Today had very little wind and about 55° at 1 in the afternoon.
I feared there wd be many Christmas Bikes out there but I was nearly alone

Very pooped today so a short one. Still learning the console and adjusting to the increased difficulty

She is a much quieter much tougher ride than Aurora. I reverted to a 20 minute 3 sprint ride and got good plateaus

Her fan-blades are wider longer and Cupped to grab more air. Standing sprints longer than a minute now impossible for me. Looking forward to putting more effort & getting less speed for a few months.
She’s Lovely

Aurora’s monitor no longer stays charged. New batteries don’t change that. O suppose 5 years was a good long life. I’ve ordered a Rogue to handle her duties.

I rode indoors again today since outside was 25°
I’m at number 43 on 12-3 and I wanted to get 50 indoor rides this year. So . . . 7 more is possible but unlikely. Tomorrow will be warm enough for an outdoor ride anyway.
