Choppy Hills

I figured the repaving of Frisbee-Golf Hill would make the road impassable for a week but the first several grinds of the surface went quickly & even without black-top the surface was nearly smooth & enjoyable.

That having been said the Google-Fiber drilling on 14th made me ride up Frisbee-Golf hill on my once. Too great a chance of some rut blowing a tube. I did some internal hill-repeats and ventured out into Tornado Country where I was please to see all the repairs complete. Except for a lack of trees the neighborhood looks livable.

Crowded path today with many competing runners.

Now we will have 2 days or so of rain.

Leg Wobbly Rehab

The wobble is still there but it’s becoming more manageable at least over short times or distances. I guess from here is where I begin rebuilding.

A good Aurora day. 15 miles in 44:11 and 17 total miles in 51:40.

No sprinting for this one. Just seeing how the leg works under ordinary stress.

Short Aurora

I’m still trying to find what a Shirt Ride is in her. I figure 20 minutes works. I did 7 miles in 21:35 and finished up with 8.1 in 25. Leg has a decided wobble to it, but I missed two tough days on Hector.

2 small sprints. I figure the cold will keep me in Friday as well.

More Indoor

I actually forgot to post this on the day. Low brain-sugar after a rude is a real thing & often a comfort.

I went a good 11.6 in total and had 4 good sprints. The leg did not complain tho it still has its Gap there

182 per minute is fine Airport Sprinting but I’m glad I have a few weeks more inside to fine-tune things a bit more.

My Heart Belongs To Aurora

We hit the mid 40s today but by afternoon Dante and my language lessons had kept me from any serious Bike Prep so I took Aurora around the virtual block a few times. 11.5 miles total in 35 minutes; 10 good miles in 29:45. Mostly straight pedaling with 5 sprints.

She’s a lovely demanding beast & worth every penny.

193 beats a minute is what I usually hit doing Sprint-Intervals at the airport. Leg held up just fine.

Short Aurora

My Daily Dante reading stops in 18 days so I’ll have more time in the morning which hopefully Rosetta Stone won’t entirely consume so that I can get in more actual riding. Starting slowly throw seems to keep my leg happy for 20 tough minutes at a time. Good enough for a beginning.

7 miles today in just over w0 minutes; 10 in just over 30.

Feels good to keep the heart-rate up there
