I’m going to credit the Halfbike with stronger legs. 6.8 miles of Plateauing in 20 minutes.

I’ll need 2 days of dry to take-out any real bike. Too much slick-leaf danger.
now in the mind indestructible

I took the Halfbike out mostly to test tired legs and to see if I had resolved the Watch Heart-rate issue. Nearly no traffic

She’s such a fun ride.
I took out the light bike and avoided most of the hills. I left in the mind 40°s and had 20 good miles before the goring cold pierced the heat-bubble my battery-powered socks afforded.
I managed to catch the wheel of an older cyclist heading my way; I drafted behind him for a good 2 miles at 19.2 mph — nearly like an actual cyclist.

I actually didn’t know it was raining outside until I had completed my 6.7 on Aurora & got denied any time on the Halfbike.

Irks me that my peaks get lost in the clouds
I just managed to beat the rain — or neatly. On slightly slick roads I’ve always said there’s no safer bike than a Fixie. On slick roads Halfbikes are also very safe but since the torque makes the rear wheels (which do the steering or turning) skid just a bit. Makes for a fun experience.

Short but sweet. I’m still having troubles with the FITIV phone app hence the Watch screen-shots.
I did a modified Wednesday route — leaving-out the Stadium Loop because I’m a bit superstitious. We had a day in the low 60s and virtually no wind.

I had 2 AppleWatch issues which I’m hoping a simple restart will correct.
We had low 60s today in the afternoon and very little wind. I took a break from cleaning to take Arachne out. 6.4 miles in 42 minutes. I stayed off the hills though; just turns & straights in 2nd gear.

A short 6.8 after a good morning of kettlebells. The weather was nice enough after 1 for an outdoor ride but at that hour it would not have been worth the rigamarole of dressing.

Apps have been giving me fits recently
My troubles with the FITIV app continue; I cannot get a good graph of Peaks & Plateaus. Oh well. I had a good indoor ride today anyway.

Still dealing with two hobbled pups too so I took Aurora to nowhere fir 20 minutes & 6.7 miles. I made my 3 Peaks & 4 Plateaus.

It’s not Outside but it’s what I’ve got.
