Plenty of tree-debris along Vinny Links but the road was clear. I’m certain many paths within Shelby are clogged but the perimeter roads are all clear.

I had a good 10 miles planned (I figure 4 loops) but returned home after 2 laps for 8 miles (so my math is wrong). It was a good warm-ish ride.

Even tho I have provenly suitable outfits for very cold rides there are still ice-patches out there and many are nearly invisible. So I’m an indoor animal for a bit.

I tried 3 alternate pedaling styles and concentrated on breathing correctly instead of keeping-up 57-60 rpms in my quest for 7 miles in 20 minutes.

Things went well.

Our roads are still impassable but I wd’ve ridden indoors anyway because I’m not ready for cold rides yet

I’m under half a mile behind 7 miles in 20 minutes which is a good enough goal for now

We had only light drizzle but I was unwilling to risk a Halfbike outing. If I concentrate more on keeping Echo’s rpms above 57 I’m certain I can hit 5 miles in 15 minutes. Today I hit 5 in 15:04. My previous AirBike had smaller & fewer blades and 7 miles in 20 minutes was always the point of the rides.

I took Echo around the virtual block. Getting closer to 5 in 15 so once again I hope to hit 7 in 2 again

I’m still about half a mile behind the pace of my former AirBike. I just need to app,t myself more.

I don’t get to Echo as often as I used to. She’s still one tough ride

I tried the usual route including 16th but not all the way uphill. My shoulder felt fine as did my legs. There was little traffic but I stopped after 54 minutes.

I didn’t expect it to be so windy but there you have it. At least it kept the park nearby empty. I rode 3 times past the crash-site & found no alternate route I could have taken. So some things just depend on luck.

I expected my shoulder to hurt some but nope. Good as new.

Testing-out my shoulder & it’s all good. Quite a relief.

I tried to stop after 5 miles but one last up-hill pull was too attractive to me.
