I wanted today’s ride to be short so I could plan for a Century & get me wonky pedal replaced but the screeching from the pedal drove me to take on some hills in an effort to wear out the broken plastic & return to riding in blessed silence.
In the end the hills only made the screeching worse so I rode home & switched bikes. Finished 100 kilometers grateful for the miles. Fixies & Hills are a fine match.
New Pedals now. Planning some before heading to California.
